The problem As recently reported by the CRTC, annual revenues generated by the wireless service industry in Canada were $21.2 billion in 2013. However, the market share in terms of revenues for smaller wireless service companies and independent Internet providers remained less than 10%. These are our clients. In order to compete with the three major providers these companies needed tools to expand their business in a better, smarter, and more cost effective way.
The solution Over the past 15 years we have helped these small and mid-sized telecommunications companies by working within their corporate IT departments as a partner that not only understands technology, but also understands the business issues and what really needs to be done. This encompasses tools such as: - ERP customization and integration; - usage-based and customer specific billing solutions; - purchase order management tools; - global roaming solutions; - monitoring and auditing controls; - multi-service bundle provisioning; - comprehensive dashboards for provisioning of products and services; and - job and order tracking solutions.
The results By
embedding ourselves within existing IT departments and implementing successful
workflow systems, we were able to provide measureable benefits in terms of
capital cost avoidance, annual cost savings, and annual cost avoidance. Most
importantly, we enabled clients like AT&T Canada and MTS Allstream to
expand their business and compete with market leaders on a larger scale. |

Other telecommunications companies we have worked with include TeraGo Networks, Netcom Canada, Norigen, and Next Air. In an environment where errors associated with processing big data have serious consequences; our tools and robust optimization algorithms are vital for allowing these smaller companies to compete with Canada’s largest providers.
